The UK's Pleasure Brand Tea was one of the products of the colonial countries' tea plantations.
Plantations were a product of the colonial powers, and one product of such environmentally destructive tea plantations was the UK's Pleasure Brand Tea. The colonialists seized control of the forests and gave the European planters vast areas at low cost to create plantations. Hence, natural forests containing various trees were completely cut down and replaced with specific tree species. However, with this 'scientific forestry,' tea, coffee, rubber, and deodar plantations were set up by clearing expansive areas of natural forests.
