The unit of sound intensity

The sound intensity is the power per square meter. The common unit of power is the watt $\left(1 watt=1 Joule/s\right)$. The unit is called decibel. i.e., the intensity of sound expressed in watt per meter and I is the reference intensity defined to be $10-12 N/m^2$
