Detailed Solution

The molecular formula of ammonium bisulphide is  NH4HS

The decomposition of the solid ammonium bisulphide is  (NH4)HS(s)NH3(g)+H2S(g)

So the equilibrium constant of this decomposition (with respect to concentration) is Kc=[NH3][H2S][NH4HS]......(1)

[NH4HS] is taken 1as it is in solid state.

So, the equation(1) become Kc=[NH3][H2S]

Now the unit of concentration of NH3is [NH3]=mol.L-1and the unit of concentration of H2S is [H2S]=mol.L-1 as for both the gases stoichiometric value is 1.

So, the unit of Kc become mol.L-1×mol.L-1=mol2L-2

Hence, option 2 is the correct option.
