Given an equation 4 + 5(p – 1) =34.
For solving the equation, we will keep p on one side and rest all numbers on the other side.
First, we have to move 4 from L.H.S to R.H.S.

Now, we have to remove the coefficient of p. So, we will divide both sides with 5.
