The value of the expression

(3 + 3) (2 + 2)

after simplifying is

6 + 3 √ 2 + 2 √ 3 + √ 6

.
Given expression is

(3 + √ 3) (2 + √ 2)

Let us multiply (2 + √2) by 3 and √3, doing so we get

= 3 (2 + √ 2) + √ 3 (2 + √ 2)

Further by multiplying 3 × 2 and √3 × √2

= 3 × 2 + 32 + 23 + 3 × 2 = 6 + 32 + 23 + 6

Hence, the value of the expression is

6 + 3 √ 2 + 2 √ 3 + √ 6
