Detailed Solution

Given, internal diameter of hemispherical tank = 14m.
We know,
Radius = Diameter 2   .
Internal radius of the tank
Internal diameter of the tank 2    14 2     7m
We know, volume of the hemispherical tank is 2 3 π 3   .
Substitute the values, we get
2 3 × 22 7 × (7) 3    718.67 m 3    We know that 1 m 3  =1 kilolitres, so
718.67    kilolitres.
So, Volume of the water pumped into the tank = Volume of the tank - Water contained in the tank
718.6750    668.67   kilolitres
Therefore, 668.67 kilolitres of water pumped into the tank.
Therefore, the correct option is 3.
