The weavers make cloth based on orders from merchants.
Traders/merchants buy the yarn and direct the weavers on the type of fabric that should be produced. These merchants have established close relationships with garment companies from which they receive orders. The weavers in villages use the yarn that these traders have purchased to weave their products on the looms that are housed next to their homes. The weavers then return the completed fabric to the trader and get paid. These merchants finally sell these cloth fabrics to garment companies and exporters.
