The width of each of nine classes in a frequency distribution is 2.5 and the lower-class boundary of the lowest class 10.6. Then the upper-class boundary of the highest class is 33.1.
Given,
Number of classes = 9,
Class size = 2.5.
We know that, Total size = No. of classes × class size.
So,   Total size = No. of classes × class size   Total size =9×2.5  Total size =22.5 Upper limit = lower limit + total size
Upper limit of last class =10.6+22.5 ⇒33.1
Therefore, the final answer is 33.1.
