Centripetal force is the force that causes a body to move in a circular motion.

This force is always directed towards the center.

The centripetal force acting on a body of mass 'm' rotating radius 'r' is as follows:

F=mv2r

Work done: It is the dot product of Force and Displacement.

Work Done(W)= Forced (F)× Displacement (S)×cosθ

Here θ is the angle between force and displacement.

When a body moves in a circular path, the direction of centripetal force is always towards the center, and the direction of displacement is always perpendicular to the centripetal direction.
