The[[1]] island group of India lying in the Arabian Sea.

Lakshadweep is an island with 12 atolls , 3 reefs and  5 submerged banks, and total it is 39 islands and islets. The reefs are also have  atolls and mostly they mostly submerged with only small unvegetated sand cays which are above the high-water mark. The submerged banks are usually the  sunken atolls.
