Concept: By using unitary method we’ll convert the length of line from meters to yards. To convert the value, we’ll multiply the value of 1 yard in terms of meters to the length of line in yards.
Firstly, we will convert the length of the line from yards to meters.
It's given in the question that:
1 yard=0.914metres
Let assume the length of line drawn on blueprints be L
L=1.5yards
Above equation can also be written as:
L=1.5× 1 yard
To calculate the value of 1.5yards we multiply the value of   1 yard to 1.5
L=1.5×0.914 meters
L=1.371 meters
So, length of the line drawn on the blueprint is  1.371meters.
