Detailed Solution

There are three lists: Union list, State list and Concurrent list.
In India, there is a division of power between central and state governments by three union lists, state lists, and concurrent lists. The list includes different topics.
1) Union list- there are 100 subjects inserted in the union list. These 100 subjects are related to the national level as the defence system, budget, foreign currency, banking, international relations, etc. The only central government can make laws regarding these topics
2) State list- the subject included in this list are police, trade, agriculture, irrigation, commerce, etc. Only the state government can make laws related to the topics mentioned in the state list. The central government cannot interfere in it. The state government can work freely.
3) Concurrent list- the subject mentioned in this list are forest, marriage, education, succession, and adoption. Central and state administrations can make ordinances for the cases mentioned in this list.
