Mass of two bodies M1=m and M2=3m
Initial velocity of the two bodies u1 =3v and u2= v
By the law of conservation of linear momentum, Pf=Pi, where Pf is the final momentum and Pi is the initial momentum.   mV + 3mV = m(3v) + 3m(v)
