Detailed Solution

Let B1,B2,B3 be the events of selecting I, II, III respectively

 i.e. PB1=PB2=PB3=13

Probability of selecting Red ball from frist box

PR/B1=36=12

Probability of selecting Red ball from 2nd box

PR/B2=14

Probability of selecting Red ball from 3rd box

PR/B3=312=14

Assuming that ball is Red, Probability it is from box II

PB2/R=PB2PR/B2PB1PR/B1+PB2PR/B2+PB3PR/B3

=13×141312+1314+1314=13×141312+14+14

=1412+12=141=14  PB2/R=14
