$e = 0.5, u_{1} = 10 {m/s,u}_{2} = 0 m/s$

$I^{st} case : -$

$v_{1} = (\frac{1 - e}{2}) u$

$= (\frac{1 - 0.5}{2}) 10 = 2.5 m/s$

$v_{2} = (\frac{1 + e}{2}) u = (\frac{1 + 0.5}{2}) 10$

$= 7.5 m/s$
