Detailed Solution

Three wars over seven years with Austria, Denmark, Germany and France ended in a Prussian victory.
Prussia was the victor of the three conflicts that lasted seven years and involved Austria, Denmark, Germany, and France. After three protracted conflicts with Denmark in 1862, Austria in 1866, and the decisive conflict with France during the Prussian War in 1870–1871, Prussia finally succeeded in uniting Germany. The unification of Germany is credited to Otto von Bismarck. The newly appointed Otto von Bismarck, Chief Minister of Prussia, had altered the political situation in Prussia's favour. In a solemn ceremony at Versailles in January 1871, Kaiser William I was installed as the new German Emperor. He served as the nation's first head of state.
