Detailed Solution

Assume that an air conditioner costs x in accordance with the question, and then compute the price after GST payment by adding CGST and SGST. Simply equate the equation and determine the value of x since we have the cost of an AC supply provided to us. Next, determine GST2, which is the sum of SGST and GST.
Taxable value (1 + GST) = Total cost.
So, total cost = taxable value + GST applied on taxable value.
 Total cost = Taxable value (1+0.28) = 51,200.
So, the taxable value of the AC is 40,000.
Now, the total amount of GST = AC cost with GST- AC cost without GST
= Rs (51200−40000)
After subtracting we get,
= Rs. 11200
Therefore, total amount of GST= 11200
Now, amount of SGST= GST2 = 112002 = Rs 5600
SGST is equal to 5600rs.
Taxable value of AC, Total amount of GST and Amount of SGST are 40000 Rs, 11200 Rs and 5600 Rs.
Hence option (1) is correct.
