Tipu Sultan had a conflict with the Britishers. After his father's death, Haider Ali, Tipu Sultan, became the Nizam of Mysore. Mysore was a prosperous state. Mysore profits significantly from spices like pepper, cardamom, and cloves. Traders from Mysore also deal with Britishers. The conflict started when Tipu Sultan was ordered not to trade with the Britishers because Tipu started exchanging with French companies, as the French company helped Tipu modify the army. This was the reason for the conflict between Tipu Sultan and the Brothers.
