Detailed Solution

Tirthankaras were those who followed the path of moksha. They adhered to all Jain beliefs. In Jainism, there were 24 Tirthankaras. The first Tirthankara was Rishabhdeva, also known as Adinatha, and the last Tirthankara was Mahavira. In the Vishnu Purana and the Bhagavad Purana, Rishabhdeva was discovered to be Narayana's avatar. The early 22 Tirthankaras' historicity is uncertain. As evidence, two Tirthankaras named Rishbha and Arishtanemi were discovered in Rigveda.
