Detailed Solution

Concept: A current-carrying coil feels a force when it is exposed to an external magnetic field. We require a specific kind of circuit in which we have a current-carrying coil and an external magnetic field in order to transform mechanical energy into electrical energy.
Energy cannot be created out of nothing or destroyed back into nothing, per the rule of conservation of energy. Only one of its forms can be changed into another. Devices exist that can transform one type of energy into another. Transducers are the common name for such devices. An apparatus known as a dynamo transforms mechanical energy into electrical energy. A current is generated in the circuit when a coil is moved while in the presence of an external magnetic field thanks to the design of dynamos. By doing this, it is possible to transform the mechanical energy of a revolving coil into an electrical current that flows through the circuit. Based on the kind of current they generate, dynamos can be divided into two categories: AC dynamos and DC dynamos. A DC dynamo generates direct current, whereas an AC dynamo generates alternating current.
Hence, the correct answer is option 3.
