Given,
Focal length of concave mirror, = -10 cm
Height of the object,h0 = 2
Height of the image, hi = 6
Using,
m=hiho m=62
m=3 cm erect image
Also,
m= -vu 3= -vu
v= -3u
Now using the mirror formula;
1v+1u=1f 1-3u+1u=1-10
u=-203
= - 6.7 cm Since it’s a concave mirror, the negative sign indicates the image is formed in front of the mirror.
