Detailed Solution

To grow paddy, preparations begin in June.
The three rice-growing seasons in India are summer, autumn, and winter. However, the "Kharif" season, often known as "winter rice," is the main rice-growing season. June through July is used for sowing, and November through December for harvesting. Eighty-four per cent of the country's rice is produced in the Kharif harvest. Thus, saplings are prepared in June. Soon after, transplanting takes place for the next two months, that is, July and August. After this process, the crop will have grown considerably, so it is necessary to weed the crop. Weeding occurs in September and October. Finally, the last step is harvesting. This happens in November and December.
