It is given that to sell 60 posters Anu’s class members could raise Rs.250.
Let’s assume money raised for selling 102 posters is

α .

First, create a table using the information provided.
There will be an increase in the amount of money raised when more posters are sold.
This shows that this is a direct proportion case.

Since, it is the case of direct proportion, so ratio remains constant. Therefore,

60250 = 102 α ⇒ 60 × α = 102 × 250 ⇒ α = 102 × 250 60 ⇒ α = 425
