Tribal groups were dependent on moneylenders and traders to buy and sell goods. Tribal groups sometimes also needed goods not produced within the locality. For this, they had to buy and sell goods to get them. To purchase outside goods, they were dependent on moneylenders and traders. The moneylenders provided loans to tribals which completed their cash needs. But they face high interest on the loans and often come under debt and poverty. Tribals also faced many problems because of this, and it affected their livelihood. Therefore they saw moneylenders and traders as evil outsiders.
