Detailed Solution

Let bag A has x chocolates
And bag B has y chocolates
The number of chocolates in both bags is 50.
According to question
x + y = 50                --------------(i)
x - 8 = y + 8
x - y = 16              --------------(ii)
Now adding Eqn. (i) and Eqn. (ii) we get ‘
x + y + x- y = 50 + 16
2x = 66
x = 33
Now put  the value of x in Eqn. (i)
x + y = 50
33 + y = 50
y  = 17
Hence, Bag A has 33 chocolates and Bag B has 17 chocolates.
