Detailed Solution

Given,
Two blends of tea costing Rs Question Imageper kg and Rs Question Imageper kg respectively.
Let's assume the proportional value is y
So, first kind of tea =2y  kg and Second kind of tea =3y  kg
Now, C.P.= Amount×Cost price rate
C.P.=2y×35+3y×40
⇒Rs.190 y
Volume of mixture =2y+3y=5y kg
According to the given condition,
1 5   the of mixture =y kg  sold at Rs.46   per kg and remaining 5yy=4y kg  sold at Rs.55   per kg
So, S.P.= Amount×Selling price rate
S.P.=y×46+4y×55 S.P.=Rs.266y
We know that, Profit=S.P.C.P.
Profit,
266y190y Rs.76y
Thus, Profit %= Profit×100 C.P.
76y×100 190y 40%
Thus, profit percentage is of 40%.
Hence, the correct option is 1.
