The momentum is in the direction of car A after the collision.
Momentum is the total amount of motion present in a body. For particles that travel by or nearly by the speed of light,
And for normal particles and bigger objects, momentum is equal to the product of mass and velocity.
P=M×V
Therefore this momentum depends upon velocity.
Since momentum is a vector quantity, it has directions and the two cars are moving in opposite directions.
According to the law of conservation of momentum, the momentum after the collision will be the sum of the momentum of both cars. But we have to consider opposite directions also.
Let’s take the direction of car A as positive
