Total numbers of outcomes when throwing n no. of dice together = 6 n .
The total number of possible outcomes when throwing two dice together is n S = 6 2 =36 .
The possible outcomes when two dice are thrown simultaneously is,  Question ImageLet E 1 = Getting same number on both dice.
E 1 = {(1,1), (2,2), (3,3), (4,4), (5,5), (6,6)}
Therefore, number of favorable outcomes, n ( E 1 ) = 6.
