Find the number of ways that the two friends may have the same birthdays.

So, the total number of days in the year 2000 is 366.
This means that the number of days in which the two friends have the same birthday is 366.
Thus, the number of ways that the two friends may have same birthdays is 366×366   .
Finding the required probability by dividing the total number of days by the number of ways that the two friends may have the same birthdays.
So, 366 366×366 = 1 366   The probability that two friends who were born in 2000 may have same birthdays is 1 366   .
Hence, the correct option is 1.
