It is known that the resultant power of the combination is given by the sum of the individual power of the lenses. In this case, it can be written as,
P=P1+P2
Where P, P1 and P2 are the resultant power, power of lens 1 and power of lens 2, respectively.
On substituting the values, we get the resultant power as
P=P1+P2
