Two masses m₁ and m₂ (m₁ > m₂) are falling from the same height when same air resistance acts on them

If R be the resistance of air , then $\mathrm{a}=\frac{\mathrm{mg}-\mathrm{R}}{\mathrm{m}}=\mathrm{g}-\frac{\mathrm{R}}{\mathrm{m}}$

When 'm'  increases, 'a' also increases.

$\text{ Now }\mathrm{t}=\sqrt{\frac{2 \mathrm{h}}{\mathrm{a}}}\text{ and }\mathrm{v}=\sqrt{2\mathrm{ah}}$

So m₁ will have more acceleration and have more velocity and will reach ground early.
