Let the length of the slinkies be d.
For slinky A, let the speed be v, and the time taken is

80 s .

Also, for slinky B, let the speed be v', and the time taken is

70 s

.
Now, it is known that,

Velocity = Distance / Time

Now, For slinky A:

v = d / 80

Similarly, for slinky B:

v' = d / 70

Since the distance is the same, it can be observed that the speed of the pulse travel is inversely proportional to the time.
Hence, the pulse travels faster in slinky B.
