Let's say first student received x marks.
So, the second student received x+9 in marks.
Now, the marks of second student is 56% of sum of both.
x+9=56100(x+9+x)
25x+9=142x+9
3x=99 
x=33  So, the marks of second student,
x+9
=33+9
=42
Hence, marks of the students are 42 and 33.
