Two trains A and B are running in the same directions on parallel tracks such that A is faster than B, packets of equal weight are exchanged between them. Then

If packets of same weight are exchanged, a packet with higher momentum will be transferred to B from A. So total momentum of B is increased.

Resulting in B to be accelerated.

And similarly A will be retarded.
