Detailed Solution

Under the Inland Immigration Act 1859, plantation workers were not permitted to leave the tea gardens of Assam.
This act stated that none of the plantation workers of Assam could leave the tea gardens without permission. Britisher confined the planters in a place near the field of tea plantations and did not allow the planters to go to their home in the village. But the planters and their families were both forced to do so. Otherwise, Britishers could take action, which would be more painful. Britishers rarely allow permission to go home for less time only if it's urgent to go home for less time only if it's urgent to go. So this act exploited tea planters.
