Detailed Solution

Veins and veinlets are vascular bundles of lamina. The veins are larger and usually one prominent vein runs from base to apex of lamina and known as midrib. It forms lateral veins and the ultimate branches of veins are called as veinlets. Such veins and veinlets are absent in petioles and leaf base. Stipules may seldom have veins as in Lathyrus and Pisum.
