It is given a pentagonal pyramid.
According to Euler's Formula, F + V - E = 2.
Where F = number of faces,
V = number of vertices,
E = number of edges.
A pentagonal pyramid is a polyhedron which has 6 faces, 10 edges and 6 vertices.
Number Faces = F = 6
Number of edges = E = 10
Number of vertices = V = 6
Now take, LHS = F + V + E
⇒   6 + 6 -10
⇒  12 - 10 =
⇒  2
We know RHS = 2.
So, LHS = RHS.
Hence, Euler's Formula is true for pentagonal pyramids.
