$V{F}_5$  is known but other Vanadium (V) halides are not known because

There is no reaction between Vanadium and the lower halogens$C{l}_2, B{r}_2\text{\hspace{0.17em}and\hspace{0.17em}}{I}_2$

There is steric hindrance around vanadium in $V{X}_5$ as the size of other halogen atoms are large

Vanadium (V) can act as oxidizing agent while  $B{r}^{-}$ and  $I^{-}$ act as reducing agents

Fluorine can oxidize the Vanadium to its higher oxidation state but not other halogens
