Vinoda Bhave started a movement in 1951 for farmers, known as Bhoodan Movement. This movement was started to help landless farmers. A volunteer started this movement, and it was a reform in which the big landlords, zamindars, or land owners used to give their land to the landless farmers voluntarily. This act also had a history; when Vinoda Bhave was delivering a speech in Pochampalli, some landless farmers came to him and told their grievances and asked for help in the form of some land so that they could also have a livelihood. Vinoda Bhave wasn't able to make any promise at that time, but he assured them that he would have a word with the government,
