Median=l+ N 2 cf f ×h   Here, l   is the lower limit of the median class, h is the class size and cf will be the cumulative frequency of class interval preceding the median class.
So, substituting the values of f and cf in the formula of the median:
Median=1000+ 300250 190 ×1000 Median=1000+263.16 Median=Rs.1263.16  
The median of the data is Rs.1263.16  .
