What are alloys? 

Alloys are made of two or more metals mixed in specific compositions. Alloys are made to enhance the physical properties of metal like thermal conductivity, ductility, etc. for a particular use that a single metal may not satisfy. The alloys have high strength and corrosion resistance. 

For example, bronze is an alloy made of copper and tin in a composition of 75% and 12% tin, and the remaining made of few other metals. Brass is another common alloy made of copper and zinc which finds its uses in manufacturing various tools and fittings.
