What are fangs?

Fang is basically a long, pointed tooth. In snakes, the fangs are hollow teeth which are connected with a tube to the glands that produce poison. So fangs are a snake's poisonous teeth. They use those fangs to bite and the hollow teeth carrying the poison inject it into the prey. The elders of a sapera community teach the younger members the method to remove their fangs.
