What are interhalogen compounds? Give some examples to illustrate the definition. How are they classified?

Interhalogen compounds: Halogens react with each other forming binary compounds known as inter halogen compounds.

Structural Aspect: In the compounds central halogen atom shows different hybridised states depends upon the bonding.
