Detailed Solution

Concept: We can state in layman's terms that a chemical reaction rearranges the atoms that make up the reactants to produce various substances as products. In essence, it is a procedure where one or more compounds are changed into one or more new substances.
Numerous chemical processes can be distinguished by the evolution of gas or the formation of ppt (precipitate). For instance, carbon dioxide gas is produced when sodium carbonate combines with diluted hydrochloric acid. & A white precipitate of silver chloride is produced by the reaction of silver nitrate with sodium chloride.
Titrations are frequently carried out in chemistry. Essentially, it is an acid-base chemical reaction. A colour shift indicates the point at which it ends. In addition to titrations, many chemical processes (such as the creation of metal oxides) are characterised by a change in colour. For instance, the purple colour of potassium permanganate is lost when citric acid combines with it.
There are some chemical processes that are characterised by temperature changes. Heat-evolving reactions are known as exothermic reactions, and heat-absorbing reactions are known as endothermic reactions. As an illustration, energy is produced when quick lime and water react. This reaction is exothermic.
As we can see from the explanation above, each of these alternatives represents a property of a chemical process.
Hence, the correct answer is option 4.
