The flower is a reproductive organ of plants. It has many parts which are as follows:

Sepals: They are green coloured outer parts of a flower which encloses and protects the bud in early stages of flower.

Petals: They are brightly coloured parts of a flower which are modified leaves. 

Stamens: They are male reproductive part of a flower and consist of anther and filament. They can be multiple in number.

Pistil: This is the female reproductive part of a flower and consists of stigma, style and ovary. The ovary of a plant has ovules inside it.
