Detailed Solution

The three physical states of water i.e., X, Y and Z are ice, water and water vapour respectively.
Water exists in three physical states, and these states can be interconverted into each other. Ice on heating melts by the process of melting. Water on heating changes into its vapour by the process of evaporation. This water vapour on cooling can be converted back into the water by the process of condensation. Water on cooling can solidify to form ice by the process of freezing. So, this is how the physical state of water can be changed from one state to another.
