Detailed Solution

Concept: Molecular oxygen :- Molecular oxygen( O2) is a diatomic patch composed of two oxygen titles held together by a covalent bond. Molecular oxygen is essential for life, as it's used for respiration by numerous organisms. In addition, molecular oxygen is important for combustion – especially in the combustion of energies for energy. There's a double bond between these two titles. Since the two oxygen titles have eight electrons around them, the oxygen patch is less reactive.

Ozone :-Ozone( O3) is a largely reactive gas composed of three oxygen titles. It's both a natural and a mortal- made product that occurs in the Earth’s upper atmosphere. Ozone is also an important oxidising agent.

Ozonolysis is a response of alkenes with ozone.

This ozone is passed through a result of the alkene, first producing an ozonide.

This ozonide is latterly reduced, giving fractionalization around the double bond, with oxygen attached to each carbon from the double bond.
