Detailed Solution

The right to be informed and the right to choose are two important rights of consumers under the Consumers Protection Act. The government has made it mandatory to provide every detail of the product on the packaging about the safety precautions, price, quantity, expiry date, manufacturing date, directions for use, etc. this will help consumers make the right decision. If a product proves to be defective, then the consumer has the right to get its compensation or replacement. This is considered under the right to be informed. Any consumer who receives a service in whatever capacity, regardless of age, gender, and nature of service, has the right to choose whether to continue to receive the service or not. A consumer has every right to select the products he wants to buy or not.
