-Physical models: These models depict how any substance or species is physically described. This can provide us with a rough idea of the chemical species' structure. For instance, the first model for the structure of an atom that was proposed was Bohr's model of an atom.

-Conceptual models: These models are utilised to research any field of study's notions. Most of these ideas are theoretical patterns. A food web is an illustration of a conceptual paradigm.
