Detailed Solution

HSRA stood for the Hindustan Socialist Republican Army. Many nationalists believed that the struggle against the British could not be won if they still followed the path of non-violence. Therefore, under the leadership of some leaders like Bhagat Singh, Jatin Das, and Ajoy Ghosh, the Hindustan Socialist Republican Army (HSRA) was founded at a meeting on Ferozeshah Kotla ground in Delhi in 1928. HSRA used various violent methods against the British. For example, Bhagat Singh and Batukeswar Dutta threw a bomb at the legislative assembly in April 1929.
